Hello World!

Hello and you know what!

Welcome to Pharm Chi’s corner. For a moment, let’s forget about the “About page” while I introduce myself in this first blog post. I am Chiamaka Gift Ogueri (Pharm Chi ™️), a Pharmacist, serial entrepreneur, and currently a Masters student in Artificial Intelligence and Digital Health at the University of Westminster, London.

Moving on! I’m going to be writing on one of my modules I found so fascinating despite not having gone far into it yet. When I was enrolling for my program, and it was time to select my modules. I had selected my compulsory modules (not like I had a choice with those ones), up next was to choose the optional modules, seeing Communicating Science as a module lit my eyes and imagination instantly. I was like, this sounds interesting and different. I went further to check the module introduction and outline, and indeed I couldn’t resist picking the module. I instantly opted for it without thinking twice. And sitting here today, I am exhilarated I did choose Communicating Science as one of my optional modules.

Being that the module is all about communication, I found it very timely for the next phase of my life journey. I was extensively into student leadership throughout my undergraduate, both at the faculty level, and university level(Student representative), verbal communication had never been a challenge. Communicating science pushes beyond speaking, there is the aspect of newspaper publication, and television production, which are definitely making me a bit nervous in the best way, but I know it’ll all quench by the time I get to that stage, and the nerves will transform to confidence.

Get on the front row to my journey through masters in Artificial Intelligence and Digital Health, most especially through the lens of the Communicating Science module. When it comes to communication, I hope to improve my presentation skills, writing skills and everything about communication to A+ by the end of it. And wrapping up, I am so much looking forward to the television presentation side (Don’t be startled when you see your girl on the TV😆), also looking forward to publishing, and stepping into the world of science communication.

Just so you know guys, I might have written to you at some point in life, but best believe, I wouldn’t be writing this, like right now, at this period, month, or year, if not the inspiration from the communicating science module (keep it hush🫣, it’s part of my coursework), and I am enjoying it already😊. So guys, shout out to Communicating Science module! Shout out to University of Westminster! Pharm Chi ™️ is here to keep writing, posting, and updating you all on this site. Hang in there, and see y’all soon on the next one! Cheers, and stay peaceful!🤩
