Hello! And you know what?
What a year 2026 has been so far.
So far, so good. The year started strong for me. It has been a mix of both high and low moments. I began the year with a lot of intentionality — towards my academics as a student of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Health, towards my health, towards my company (Mya Healthy Hub back in Nigeria), and also towards learning and growing beyond my area of study and work through reading and travelling.
Although the year started solid, a mistake from last year came knocking. I won’t bore you with the details — just keep me in your prayers. It broke me mentally. Despite that, I’ve managed to weather the emotional stress and suspense that came with it while still excelling in other areas so far — academically, health-wise, and in business (both the operational side and the ones I’m still “cooking”). So yes, I’ve managed to keep my head above water despite the challenge. Even though I still crave a few hugs here and there, overall, it has been a solid year so far.
One of the highlights of the year has been the new direction my company back home is taking. We started the year with quite a bit of reshuffling at Mya Healthy Hub — refining our brand, increasing exposure, reshaping service delivery, building a stronger team, and creating a much more intentional business structure than we had before. Honestly, I’m really enjoying the outcome so far. My COO and co-founder has been amazing, especially considering that I’m not physically present most of the time.
Another highlight has been my personal journey. My personal branding is progressing better than I expected, and I’ve become a lot more intentional — especially when it comes to my health. I’ve been very mindful of almost every ounce of food that goes into my mouth, and I’ve been a bit more committed to my gym subscription (though I still plan to do better).
Looking ahead, I intend to achieve more — excelling in all my modules, growing my business revenue, bringing some of my other business plans to life, travelling more, and learning more.
This year will be about reinforcing my commitment to everything I already have going. People often say, “Only the tough make it through life.” Well… why not? Because I’m tough like that. As for the other plans I mentioned — hang in there. You’ll be hearing about them soon as they unfold and launch. So here’s to 2026!
But enough about me — how are you all doing? How has your year been so far? Please share in the comments how it’s been for you and how you’re navigating it.
You know what, see you on the next one.
